Roped in reading started from zero. They did not have anything. No logo, no font selection, no color palette.
We started with looking at inspiration for the branding of the company. Which other companies in her field speaks to her and why?
What is the meaning behind her company name and how can we incorporate it?

For her colors she wanted vibrant colors, fun, happy, like her. I added a contrasting dark navy blue that fit great with the text part.
When I started doing research on the meaning and story behind the name and her goals and purpose with the company I already knew that I would like to incorporate a little character intertwined in a rope.

The logo is very literal but is easy to read and shows the story behind the name. And the monkey is roped in the rope going through the name.

I created different wireframes for the landing page to see which one would fit better for the purpose of the website. Showing what the different options would do for her.

Here we can see the prototype with the added color palette and some image place holders to get an idea of which role the images play on the website. Landing page option 3 was the best choice to be able to fullfill her goals with the website and how she wants the users to move around on the website.
